The Gray family has over 100 years of history as builders. Bob's great grandfather, William, was a speculative and custom home builder in the Boston/Cambridge area of Massachusetts from 1900 to the 1940's. Following in his father's footsteps, Bob's grandfather, Robert W. Gray, Sr., built in the Newton/Winchester Massachusetts area from the 1940's to the 1970's. Again, following in his fathers footsteps, Bob's father, Robert W. Gray, Jr., was a custom builder/track developer and condominium builder in the northern Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire areas from the 1970's to the 1990's.
Bob and his father established Gray Construction in the seacoast area of New Hampshire in 1989. The slow economy of the 1990's provided a market for the small builder/remodeler to build projects of all types to establish a name in the new market of building in southern New Hampshire. They ran a father and son company working directly on site with the assistance of local contractors. Establishing a reputation for outstanding quality and building at a fair price has resulted into growth and expansion of now fifteen employees working as a construction team.
With growth and success, all members of the Gray Construction team, including the owners, are on site making sure our reputation stands tall with every and any size job. Our expansion and commitment has broadened our market to southern New Hampshire and southern Maine.
